PURPOSE

These specific terms and conditions for the purchase of tickets (hereinafter the "Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase"), govern purchase by the User (hereinafter, the "User") of admission tickets (hereafter, "Tickets") to the Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias, S. A. (hereinafter, " or “CAC, S. A.”) through the website. These Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase are supplemented by the General Terms and Conditions of Use which the User should check through the "LEGAL NOTICE" link on the main page at www.cac.es before starting the purchase process. Said General Terms and Conditions of Use shall be understood to have been accepted with the acceptance of these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase.

All Users who purchase Tickets through the Website agree to comply with the CAC, S. A. Operations Rules and other specific regulations in existence. Said rules and regulations are available to the User in the Customer Service Office at CAC, S. A. and a copy of them can be provided upon request.

The User agrees to use the online ticket purchase service in accordance with the law, as well as in accordance with the provisions of these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Use, in accordance with good moral practices, and in accordance with generally accepted good practices and public order.

The express acceptance of these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase shall be understood to have been granted when you click the checkbox next to the text "I have read and accept the legal terms and conditions" that is located on the screen prior to admission ticket payment, Step 4 of the ticket purchase process. You can read more details by clicking the "Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase" link located at the bottom of the ticket sale page. Clicking the aforementioned checkbox implies full acceptance with no reservations of these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase in the version published at the time when the purchase process was started.

As a result, the User, under his/her own liability, must carefully read the Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase on each occasion that he/she intends to purchase tickets via the website. If the User does not agree with the contents of said Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase or with the General Terms and Conditions of Use, he/she should not perform transactions via the website. Therefore, if a User does not expressly accept the Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase, he/she may not carry out ticket purchase via the website.

CAC, S. A. reserves the right to deny or restrict access to, and/or use of, its ticket purchasing service via the website at any time and without prior notice for those Users who provide false information or who in any other way fail to comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Use or the Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase.

CAC, S. A. reserves the right to modify the contents of these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase at any time, it being the responsibility of the User to read them properly at the time of each access and/or use.

USERS OF THE ONLINE ADMISSION TICKET PURCHASE SERVICE

The User hereby states that he/she is of legal age in accordance with his/her national law and that he/she has the necessary legal standing to be bound by these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase and all other General Terms and Conditions of Use, as well as to use the website and, if applicable, to enter into contracts through the website, in accordance with said Terms and Conditions. Regarding the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, the User hereby states that he/she is familiar with them, understands them, and accept them in their entirety.

This website has been developed for the benefit of our end customers and, therefore, the services that may be accessed through the site are not directed to wholesalers, retailers, or any other type of intermediary – whether in the leisure sector, the tourism sector, or any other. As a result, the User acknowledges and accepts that the website is, uniquely and exclusively, for his/her personal use and he/she states that the products or services purchased or contracted through the website will be for his/her own use and consumption. The User shall be considered liable for any access, use, and/or consumption in relationship with the products and services offered on the website which have been purchased by third parties who access, use, or contract on the User's behalf. To this end, the User expressly and unconditionally accepts that any access to, and use of, the website and its services is considered to take place under the User's sole and exclusive liability.

CAC, S. A. has special conditions and rates for groups, with 20 people or more who are interested in purchasing the same type of admission ticket and venue being considered as a group. The User declares that all information that he/she supplies while using the website, and especially while purchasing admission tickets, is correct, true, complete and accurate.

PERSONAL DATA

During the admission ticket purchase process, CAC, S. A. will prompt the User for any data needed for the purchase to be processed.

We only ask for data that is strictly necessary for processing the User's purchase request; therefore, all data requested is obligatory. The User's failure to fill in his/her personal data as required for processing the ticket purchase request will release CAC, S. A. from any legal obligations to process and carry out the admission ticket purchase (we only ask for your ID Number, phone, postal code, and email address).

PURCHASE PROCESS

Upon finishing the purchase process, the User will receive an email (with a PDF attached) that contains the tickets, a purchase summary, and a reference number. This email must be printed and taken with the User in order to act as proof of purchase if needed.

In the event that you purchased any ticket type at a reduced price (youth card, etc.) you must present documentary proof of the reason for said discount when you enter each venue.

The ticket purchase process is available in Spanish, Valencian, Italian, French, German, and English.

CAC, S. A. is not responsible for the sale of tickets on other websites.

Any special offers and promotions will be duly indicated on the screen.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment of tickets can only be made using credit or debit cards affiliated with VISA, MASTERCARD, or AMERICAN EXPRESS.

For the User's comfort, it is important to note that confidentiality is fully guaranteed when User Data is processed. This is thanks to the encrypted transmission of information between the User's browser and the secure servers belonging to CAC, S. A. and the financial institutions that manage payments.

CAC, S. A. hereby notes that the following uses of this electronic payment system to purchase tickets are considered to be criminal in nature, punishable with a prison sentence:

• Providing false data in terms of the purchaser or card number used as a means of payment.
• Using the data of another individual other than the purchaser.
• Providing card numbers that do not match the purchaser's.
• Impersonating the owner of a card belonging to another individual.
• Using card numbers generated by computer programs or similar algorithms.

TICKET CANCELATION AND REFUND

No ticket purchases made through this website may be canceled. For this reason, it is not possible to refund the amount of the tickets purchased.

ADMINISTRATION OF DATE CHANGES TO TICKETS DUE TO REASONS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF CAC, S.A.

Up to two changes to the date of the visit are permitted in a maximum period of a year from the initial date of the visit (paying the corresponding difference in price if necessary), providing that the tickets have not been used or expired.

INVALIDITY AND NULLITY OF CLAUSES

If any of the clauses contained in these Specific Conditions are found to be fully or partially null or invalid, said invalidity or nullity is to affect only the provision or part thereof that is found to be null or invalid. The rest of the Conditions are to remain in force, with the provision or part thereof that is found to be null or invalid considered not to be included – unless said affected provision is considered to be essential for the Conditions and, as a result, all Conditions must be comprehensively updated.

ADHESION TO THE ARBITRATION SYSTEM

In order to facilitate understanding with its customers in terms of any discrepancies that may arise, Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències hereby states that it adheres to the Consumer Arbitration Board of the Valencian Community.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase shall be governed by Spanish law, which applies in matters not provided for herein in terms of the interpretation, validity, and execution of these Conditions.

The parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond thereto and expressly agree to turn to the Courts of Valencia to resolve any dispute that may arise in the interpretation or execution of these Specific Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
